I had a great experience participating as one of the 10 English language finalists in McGill’s 3 Minute Thesis competition!

The 3 Minute Thesis competition was started in 2008 at the University of Queensland as a platform for doctoral students to showcase their research to a live public audience, all within 3 minutes using only a single static slide with minimal text and no notes.

I’m grateful to have met so many other incredible grad students and learn about their research, and gain valuable skills in science communication, presenting, and the ability to concisely summarize my research.
